Full Description
Escape the coast and head inland on a full-day waterfall adventure through the Atherton Tablelands. After morning pick-up from Cairns, travel through changing landscapes of rainforest, rolling farmland, and volcanic terrain as you make your way to some of the region’s most spectacular waterfalls.
Throughout the day, you’ll visit a selection of cascading waterfalls and freshwater swimming holes, with time to swim, relax, and take in the natural surroundings. Your guide will share local knowledge about the region’s geology, wildlife, and history, creating a well-balanced mix of adventure and education.
A lunch stop at a local venue is included, along with additional scenic lookouts and lake stops depending on conditions. The tour returns to Cairns in the late afternoon, leaving you refreshed after a day immersed in nature.
