Owner Experiences With Cozie Homes
The security screen door’s lock was out of order.
They pre set the AC and I can’t change the settings at all. It was preset at 24°. Cairns can get humid and warm. There were several nights it was warm for me and I had to sleep on the floor in living room as the AC is located there. AC in the bedroom was useless.
The washing machine doesn’t spin properly and I had to manually wring my clothes to remove excess water.
We reached out to CosieHome property management with 3 issues ie the door lock, can we make the AC cooler and repair the washing machine. They sent some one out to replace the door lock and ignore the other 2 issues.
We had to reach out to them again and it took a long time to reach them and when they finally responded, they said it will take another 24 hrs for someone to come and repair the washing machine and gave me some code to reset the AC which I have no idea how to reset.
They charge enough for the accommodation and they did not offer what was listed on the air BnB ie working washing machine or a comfortable accomodation. They didn’t inform me about the pre set AC until 24 hrs before check in.
The place is old despite being refurbished. It looks sad, miserable and not welcoming.
The worst is the service provided by CosieHome property management.
Look for other options before choosing property managed by CosieHome. They are difficult to contact and not helpful or forthcoming when it came to addressing issues with the accomodation. I would avoid them at all costs.
I moved out of the place after staying there for 3 days despite paying for 8 days. The replacement accomodation was superb compared to the unit at Severin St.
5 stars all the way. We’ll definitely be back!
